Exploding out to meet the ball and finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on exploding out to meet the ball and finish. The drill begins with the player moving across the ladders before sprinting out to the cone/pole diagonally opposite them. The coach then looks to pass the ball into the player as they move around the cone for them to finish into a small sided goal/gate first time. The player should ensure they move through the ladder by pumping their arms and keeping their heels off the ground to ensure they can accelerate into space. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
