Fast footwork to enable high tempo passing & moving


Description

In this session we are focusing on fast footwork to enable high tempo passing and moving. The drill begins with the player moving across the agility ladder. As the player moves out of the ladder the coach passes the ball to the player who sets back and moves to the other side of the cone/pole to repeat before moving to the cone behind. When the player moves to the cone behind, they look to set and move around the cone again, before setting once more back to the coach. The player should ensure that they move the feet quickly and stay aware when moving through the ladder and moving across and backwards. Each set should consist of 3 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
