Agility and foot work to take small bursts into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on agility and footwork to take small bursts of speed into space. The drill begins with the player sprinting towards the central cone/pole, before turning and moving down and around the wide cone. The player then moves up and through the ladder, ensuring they pump their arms and stay light on their feet and don’t drag the feet across. After the player moves out of the ladder, they look to move around the cone ahead and repeat off the other side. Each set should consist of a minimum of two reps and should be completed at least two times.
