Working the feet quickly to sprint to the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on working the feet quickly to sprint to the ball. The drill begins with the player moving across the ladder, before sprinting up to the next ladder and repeating. The player then looks to drive into space and get to the ball as quick as they can to finish into the goal. When moving through the ladders, the player should build momentum by pumping their arms and keeping their heels off the ground to move the feet quickly and then attack the space. Each set should consist of 3 -5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
