Moving quickly through tight spaces to accelerate to the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on moving out of tight spaces quickly to then accelerate into space to the ball. The drill begins with the players moving across the ladder, before moving back across through the cones. If you only have access to one of either ladders or cones then that is fine the players can just move back across instead of moving forward. Once the players have moved back across they then look to sprint around the pole/cone, before then racing towards the ball to score. Being light on your feet is important to enable that the players move through the ladders/cones swiftly, whilst pumping their arms. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps with rest in between.
