Showing fast feet, agility & reactions to change direction


Description

In this session we are focusing on our agility and fast feet to change direction effectively. The drill begins with the player moving through the agility ladder (cones as an alternative). As the player reaches the end of the ladder, the coach then instructs the player which side to move towards. The player then looks to react to move through the ladder and then explode out into space. The player should ensure that they pump their arms and keep their heels off the ground to move quickly and to increase their reaction time to change direction. Each set should consist of 3 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
