Sprinting & turning race to the ball and score
Description
In this session we are focusing on sprinting and turning to race to the ball and score. The drill begins with both players starting diagonally opposite each other. On the coaches instruction, the players then sprint to move around the opposite players goal and reach the ball first to shoot and score. The players need to ensure that they retain a lower body position when turning so they can accelerate quicker. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps to enable there is a winner, and should be completed at least three times.
