Agility & acceleration into space


Description

In this session we are focusing on our players agility and acceleration to burst into space. The drill begins with the player stepping over the agility hurdles on both sides, before accelerating into space once they return to the middle of the hurdles. As the player approaches the pole/cone, they look to slow down to turn quickly, to enable them to accelerate into space again. The player looks to repeat the sequence in the next set of hurdles, before accelerating into space again, turning and sprinting through the gate. Each set should consist of 3 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
