SAQ race to the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on our SAQ to enable themselves to get out to the ball quickly and score. The drill begins with both players moving through the agility ladder. Once they move out of the ladder, they move around the pole to their side, sprint up to to pole infront, before backpedaling around the pole behind. After the players moved around the pole behind, their aim is to sprint out to the ball as fast as they can. The player who gets to the ball first, looks to score quickly, whether that be a first time effort, or taking the other player on in a 1 v 1 before scoring. Each set should consist of five reps with scores kept throughout, and the drill should be completed at least three times.
