Fast feet to change direction
Description
In this session we are focusing on fast feet and close control dribbling to change direction quickly. The drill begins with the player moving through the agility ladder, pumping their arms and keeping their heels off the ground. The player then takes one of the balls and dribble towards one of the two widest cones/poles. We are now focusing on the fast feet and close control to take the ball around the cone quickly to push off into space. Once the player dribbles around the final cone, they then look to move as fast as they can with the ball at their feet to drive through the gate. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
