Moving quickly into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players ability to move quickly into space. The player begins the drill by sprinting to the pole/cone directly ahead. The player then back pedals to the pole behind their right shoulder before repeating. The player should look to burst into space, to practice penetrating space on transition, as well as moving up the pitch quickly. Each set should consist of two reps, and should be completed at least three times.
