Ability to move quickly in short spaces to then burst into space


Description

In this session we are focusing on our ability to move quickly in short spaces to then burst into space. The drill begins with the player moving to the cone ahead to then turn and move to the cone across. Once the player moves round the cone they then look to burst out and accelerate into space to reach the opposite side. The drill then repeats to then finish back at the start. The player should show quick feet and a low body shape when turning and then stride powerfully into space. A ball can be introduced as a progression.
