Shuffle, sprint and travel into space with the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on shuffling, sprinting and travelling into space with the ball. The drill begins with the player shuffling to the cone on their left. As soon as the player reaches the cone they look to sprint across to the opposite side and retrieve the ball. The drill then dribbles the ball up, back, up again and then leaves the ball on the outside cone and sprints back through the start cone to finish. The player should retain close control of the ball when turning and use both feet and remain light on their feet especially when shuffling. Each set should consist of two reps, one rep each side and should be completed at least three times.
