Dribbling and turning sharply to accelerate with the ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on dribbling and turning sharply to accelerate with the ball. The drill begins with the player dribbling the ball to the highest central cone. The player then leaves the ball and sprints around the middle cone and back to retrieve the ball and then dribble round both wide cones and back to the start. The player should ensure that they slow down when turning and use both feet to maintain control. The drill should be completed at least 3 - 5 times.
