Travelling quickly and shifting through tight space to accelerate


Description

In this session we are focusing on travelling quickly and shifting through tight space to accelerate. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the wide cone and round towards the middle. The player then drops the shoulder to move through the gate and round the cone ahead to retrieve the ball. The player then completes the same path with the ball until they reach the start point. The player should slow down when moving through the gate and retain close control of the ball. The drill should be completed at least 3 - 5 times.
