ABC’s Speed circuit


Description

In this session we are focusing on our players agility, balance and coordination in a speed circuit. The drill begins with the player sprinting up to the ladder before moving through it as quickly as they can, focusing on pumping their arms, and keeping their heels off the ground. After the player moves out of the ladder, they sprint around the highest pole/cone before manoeuvring through the poles, retaining a low body position to move through quickly. The player then moves around the final pole, before sprinting across to the start point. Each set should consist of 2 - 3 reps, and should be completed at least three times.
