Accelerate, slow down and accelerate into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on acceleration, slowing down and accelerating into space. The drills begins with the player sprinting to the cone ahead before turning and accelerating into a larger space. The player then slows down to turn and sprint again but into shorter spaces so the player needs to stay in control at all times and manage their speed. The drill should be completed at least 3 - 5 times and a progression can be dribbling with the ball.
