Changing direction quickly with and without the ball


Description

In this practice we are focusing on changing direction quickly with and without the ball. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the middle cone, turning and sprinting back out. The player then turns and sprints across to retrieve the ball and repeat. The player should retain close control of the ball especially when turning and should decelerate and retain a low body shape when turning. The drill should be completed 3 - 5 times.
