Sprinting and bursting out in small and large spaces
Description
In this practice we are focusing on sprinting and bursting out in small and large spaces. The drill begins with the player sprinting up to the middle cone. The player then turns and sprints round the two outside cones which are a small distance away. Once the player returns to the middle they then sprint to the next cone ahead of them before turning and then sprinting past the final cone. The player needs to retain a low body shape when turning and then look to push out after turning. A ball can be introduced as a progression to dribble. The drill should be completed at least 3 - 5 times.
