Quickness and maintaining control in of the ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on quickness and maintaining control in of the ball. The drill begins with the player dribbling to their left and weaving through the cones/poles whilst maintaining control of the ball. Once the player reaches the top cone they stop the ball and then sprint back to the start cone to retrieve the next ball and repeat. As the player gets tired it’s important they maintain control of the ball and focus on keeping the ball close to the body. The drill should be completed at least three times.
