Travelling into space quickly with and without the ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on travelling into space quickly with and without the ball. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the middle cone before moving round the cone to sprint up and retrieve the ball. The player then travels all the way to the opposite side with the ball looking to retain control whilst travelling at speed. The player then leaves the ball to then sprint back to the middle and back to the start cone. The player needs to slow down when they are turning and retain a low body shape to be able to push off and accelerate. The drill should be completed at least four times.
