Fast footwork & reactions


Description

In this session we are focusing on our players fast footwork and ability to react quickly to move. The drill starts with the player move through the ladder, pumping their arms, keeping their heels off the ground, and moving as quickly as they can. As they come out of the ladder, the coach will command them to move left or right, the player then sprints to the pole/cone that side, before back pedalling around the pole behind to then repeat. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps, and should be completed at least three times.
