Acceleration and control: Travelling at speed with the ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on our acceleration and control: travelling at speed with the ball. The drill begins with the player dribbling across to the opposite side. The player then stops the ball and sprints around one of the cones and back to retrieve the ball to repeat. The player looks to travel at speed but stay in control of the ball ensuring the ball never gets too far away from the body. Each set is finished when the player has sprinted to all four outside cones.
