Power and explosiveness to accelerate into space


Description

In this session we are focusing on power and explosiveness to accelerate into space. The drill begins with the player accelerating towards the hurdles and then powering through with just one leg in each hurdle. The player then sprints up to the next cone before the coach then shouts which colour the player will change direction towards. The player then accelerates, turns and accelerates round the circuit of said colour. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
