Speed and coordination to change direction and movements

Description

In this session we are focusing on our speed and coordination to change direction and movements. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the cone ahead to then shuffle across to the right side. The player then sprints up to the cone ahead again and transitions to back pedal around the middle cone and shuffle across. The player then sprints up again and back pedals before sprinting back to the cone to finish. The player should stay light on their feet and retain a low body position and slow down when transitioning to different movements. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
