Acceleration and power to attack space and finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on acceleration and power to attack space and finish. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the cone ahead before turning and then sprinting across. As the players turns past the next cone they then jump over the hurdle to then accelerate out and past the cone in front. Once the player turns again the coach will then roll a ball for the player to meet and finish into the goal first time. The player should ensure that they stay light on their feet and keep the head and back up when sprinting. Each set should consist of 2 - 3 reps and should be completed at least three times.
