Acceleration to retrieve the ball and drive into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on acceleration to retrieve the ball and drive into space. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the highest cone before turning to sprint and retrieve the ball. The player then dribbles towards and through the cones whilst maintaining control of the ball throughout. The player then dribbles to the opposite side to leave the ball and accelerate back to the start. The player should slow down as they approach to turn and retain a low body position. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
