Accelerate and brake to turn and attack space
Description
In this session we are focusing on accelerating and braking to turn and attack space. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the furthest cone before turning to sprint round the middle cone. The player then sprints back to the highest cone and round to accelerate to the opposite side to retrieve the ball to repeat whilst dribbling before scoring into the goal. The player should slow down and retain a low body position when turning to stay in control. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
