Ball manipulation through tight area to accelerate into space


Description

In this session we are focusing on ball manipulation through tight area to accelerate into space. The drill begins with the player dribbling through the gate. The coach will then shout a number of a cone for the player to react quickly to dribble towards, round and back to the middle. The player should retain close control of the ball in tight spaces and stay in control when accelerating into space. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
