Explosiveness and smooth transitions to sprint in different direction


Description

In this session we are focusing on explosiveness and smooth transitions to sprint in different direction. The drill begins with the player sprinting to the second middle cone where they look to slow down and move round to move down and round the first cone. The player manoeuvres round the two outside cones before accelerating past the final cone. The player needs to slow down on approach and retain a low body shape to turning swiftly. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
