Sprinting, turning, quick feet: reacting to follow the colour


Description

In this session we are focusing on sprinting, turning, quick feet: reacting to follow the colour. The drill begins with the player moving towards the cones when the coach will shout a colour for the player to react and follow. The cones will change direction forcing the player to turn quickly and stay in control whilst looking to travel at speed. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
