Jumping to build power to accelerate into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on jumping to build power to accelerate into space. The drill begins with the player jumping over the hurdle and accelerating to the cone ahead. The player then reacts to the coaches instruction of left or right to sprint to the said side. The player looks to sprint round the back cone and across the front cone before backpedaling around the back cone. Once the player moves round the back cone they then look to sprint past the final cone. East set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
