Reacting to retrieve the ball and drive into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on reacting to retrieve the ball and drive into space. The drill begins with the player stepping in towards the coach who then looks to play the ball into space for the player to react quickly to retrieve the ball and drive around the cone and towards the mannequin. The player then looks to take the ball past the mannequin to play back to the coach to repeat on the opposite side. The player should get the ball under control to ensure they can drive into space. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
