Acceleration with/without the ball speed and agility shuttle


Description

In this session we are focusing on acceleration with/without the ball speed and agility shuttle. The drill begins with the player dribbling the ball to the first cone ahead. The player then stops the ball and sprints back to the start cone before accelerating back to the ball to dribble to the next cone. The player then stops the ball again to accelerate quickly to the furthest cone and back to then drive the ball back to the start point. The player should look to remain in control of the ball at all times. The drill should be completed at least 3 - 5 times.
