Accelerate and decelerate to step out and drive with the ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on accelerating and decelerating to step out and drive with the ball. The drill begins with the player sprinting out to the first cone before slowing down and turning to move back to the start point. The player then sprints to take the ball and step out and take the ball into space. The player should travel quickly but maintain control by using both feet. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
