Sprint, Turn, Dribble
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players sprinting and turning, both with and without the ball. The drill begins with the player sprinting upto the top middle pole/cone, and then turning to sprint to one side. The player then looks to decelerate around the outside, before sprinting upto the furthest pole and repeating. Once the player returns to the middle, the coach plays a ball to the player to repeat the sequence on the opposite side. The player should keep the ball close to the body when turning, and then look to burst into space to reenact penetrating the opposition. The drill should be completed at least three times.
