Shifting out of tight spaces to accelerate across the pitch


Description

In this session we are focusing on shifting out of tight spaces to accelerate across the pitch. The drill begins with the player moving quickly through the tightly spaced cones showcasing quick feet and agility. The player then looks to explode out to accelerate into space and turn quickly. The player should slow down and retain a low body shape when turning. Once they finish the player then looks to light jog back to the start to repeat. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
