Acceleration and sharp footwork to move through gates


Description

In this session we are focusing on acceleration and sharp footwork to move through gates. The drill begins with the player sprinting to one of the gates before moving through the gate and across to the opposite side to repeat. The player sprints back to the start point. The drill can be completed both with and without the ball. The player should slow down before moving through the gates focusing on their footwork throughout. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps with 20 seconds rest in between each rep.
