Shuffling across the Pitch

Description

In this session we are focusing on our players sprinting and shuffling without the ball, and their sprinting, dribbling and turning with the ball. Firstly, without the ball, the player begins the drill by sprinting to the middle line. The player then shuffles out and around one of the side poles/cones, before shuffling to the other side and repeating. Once the player moves around the second pole, they shuffle back into the middle and sprint out to the top. After a short rest, the player repeats the sequence to complete a set. Secondly, with the ball, the sequence remains the same, except the player dribbles instead of shuffling. The focus with the ball is changing direction with the ball, ensuring the player keeps control of the ball when turning. The drill should be completed at least three times both with and without the ball.
