Sharp footwork to get down low quickly to save

Description

In this session we are focusing on sharp footwork to get down low quickly to save. The player only needs to work in one gap in the ladder. The player looks to move across and back through the ladder until the coach passes the ball low down one of the sides. The player looks to react to dive low to claim and handle the ball. If the player cant handle the ball they should look to push the ball as far away as possible. The player should stay light on their feet, pump the arms and keep lifting the head up to be aware and react to when the coach strikes the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
