Saving down low and reaction to move and save high


Description

In this session we are focusing on saving down low and reaction to move and save high. The drill begins with the player moving across the agility ladder before saving down low. Once the player has saved they look to get up quickly to move round the cone and up to save high. When moving through the ladder the player should keep the heels off the ground and pump the arms. When saving high the player should spring out and use power built up in the legs. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
