Moving up to touch the ball and dropping quickly to save
Description
In this session we are focusing on moving up to touch the ball and dropping quickly to save. The drill begins with the player moving up to touch the ball. The player then drops back towards the middle of the goal. As the player reaches the middle of the goal the coach will shout a number which indicates which side the player should move towards to then save. The player should ensure that they stay light on the feet when travelling back towards goal whilst facing the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
