Saving and reacting to position and save on the opposite side
Description
In this session we are focusing saving and reacting to position to save on the opposite side. The drill begins with the player moving to one of the balls and shooting. The player looks to react to the coaches movement to position themselves to save. As soon as the keeper makes the save, they look to react instantly to get up and position themselves to save from the opposite side. The keeper looks to close off angles quickly, stay light on their feet and retain a low body position. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
