Agility and footwork to spring across the goal and save
Description
In this session we are focusing on agility and footwork to spring across the goal and save. The drill begins with the player working in the agility ladder, using just the first gap. The player looks to step in with both feet, before putting each foot out to the side and back in before stepping back out. When the coach shouts a number of a cone, the player looks to drop to the cone and then spring across to save a shot. The player looks to stay light and sharp on the feet and build speed in the agility ladder. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
