Handling, Loose Balls, Reactions
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players handling, speed to close down and reactions. The drill begins with the coach drilling a ball into the keepers hands. The keeper then throws the ball back to the coach, who drops the ball infront for the keeper to claim. Once the keeper has claimed the ball, they look to shuffle back, keeping their eyes on the ball, with the coach then looking to bounce the ball into one of the wide areas, with the keeper aiming to tip the ball away from goal. The drill should consist of 4-6 reps, and at least three sets.
