Manoeuvring around the poles to spring across and save
Description
In this session we are focusing on manoeuvring around the poles to spring across and save. The drill begins with the coach shouting a number or direction for the player to move in. The player then moves forward and around the pole/cone and back through the middle to move around the opposite pole. Once the player has moved round the pole, they look to spring across the goal to save a shot. The player should ensure they move the feet quickly when manoeuvring around the pole and stay light on their feet. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
