Agility and quickness to spring across the goal to save


Description

In this session we are focusing on our players agility and quickness to spring across the goal to save. The drill begins with the player moving through the cones/poles whilst facing forward. Once the player moves out of the final cone, they look to move across the goal to save a shot which will be placed towards the corner. The player should ensure they stay light on their feet and pump the arms whilst moving through the cones and ensure they stay light on their feet to move across the goal quickly. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
