Handling to protect the ball and movement to save
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players handling to protect the ball and movement to save. The drill begins with the coach driving the ball into the players body for them to claim and protect the ball. The player then looks to move through the cones and back across the goal to save. When saving the driven ball, the player should ensure they keep the body strong behind the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side per player.
