Saving balls in the air towards and away from the body
Description
In this session we are focusing on saving balls in the air towards and away from the body. The drill begins with the coach driving the ball into the player centrally to claim and protect. The player then throws the ball back and moves around the cone which the coach instructs them to. As they move back centrally, the coach plays the ball in the air for the player to spring out and save. The player should remain light on their feet and bend their knees to spring out. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
