Protecting the ball & agility to move across quickly
Description
In this session we are focusing on protecting the ball and agility to move across the goal. The drill begins with the coach driving the ball in to the player chest to handle. The player then rolls the ball back to the coach and moves around the cone/pole to move back across the goal to save. The players footwork and body shape should enable them to move around and across quickly by staying light on their feet and retaining a low body shape. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times each side.
